"Magic Mirror on the wall, who is the fairest one of all?" Contrary to popular belief, the line is "Magic Mirror" not "Mirror Mirror." This is one of the most famous examples of the Mandela Effect, where large groups of people collectively misremember something.
Reveal Answer
Anastasia and Drizella Tremaine. Anastasia is the red-haired, slightly kinder stepsister, while Drizella is the dark-haired, more antagonistic one. In Cinderella III: A Twist in Time (2007), Anastasia receives significant character development and even questions her mother's evil ways.
Reveal Answer
She is never named. The character is simply credited as "Fairy Godmother." In the 2015 live-action remake, she is played by Helena Bonham Carter and is still unnamed. Her iconic "Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Boo" song was written by Mack David, Al Hoffman, and Jerry Livingston.
Reveal Answer
Midnight. The Fairy Godmother's magic expires at the stroke of twelve, turning the pumpkin back into a carriage, the mice back into animals, and Cinderella's gown back into rags. The glass slippers, however, remain intact — a detail that drives the film's plot.
Reveal Answer
Prince Charming. He is credited as "Prince Charming" in the 1950 film. In some adaptations and merchandise, he is given the name Henry or Kit. In the 2015 live-action film, he is called Kit (short for Christopher). He has very few lines in the original animated film.
Reveal Answer
Approximately 100 years. After pricking her finger on the spinning wheel, Princess Aurora falls into a deep sleep that can only be broken by "true love's kiss." Prince Phillip eventually awakens her with a kiss after fighting Maleficent in dragon form. The 1959 film was the last Disney princess film for 30 years.
Reveal Answer
Flora, Fauna, and Merryweather. Flora wears red and gives Aurora the gift of beauty. Fauna wears green and gives the gift of song. Merryweather wears blue and alters Maleficent's curse from death to a deep sleep. Their magical conflict with Maleficent drives much of the film's plot.
Reveal Answer
Briar Rose. The three good fairies raise Aurora in the forest under the name "Briar Rose" to hide her from Maleficent. She does not learn her true identity until just before her 16th birthday. "Briar Rose" is also the title of the Brothers Grimm version of the story.
Reveal Answer
A kiss on the forehead. Grumpy is initially the most resistant to Snow White's presence, but by the end of the film, he is the most devastated by her apparent death. His character arc from gruff misanthrope to protective friend is one of Disney's earliest and most effective emotional stories.

Reveal Answer
Her voice. In The Little Mermaid (1989), Ariel signs a contract with Ursula trading her voice for three days as a human. She must receive the "kiss of true love" from Prince Eric within those three days or belong to Ursula forever. The deal is one of Disney's most dramatic bargains.
Reveal Answer
Melody. Melody is the protagonist of The Little Mermaid II: Return to the Sea (2000). She is forbidden from entering the ocean but feels drawn to it, mirroring Ariel's desire to be on land in the original film. The direct-to-video sequel reverses the original's central conflict.
Reveal Answer
A village in France (unnamed). Beauty and the Beast (1991) is set in a provincial village in France, though the village itself is never named. The "provincial life" that Belle dreams of escaping is based on 18th-century rural France. The film was the first animated movie nominated for Best Picture.
Reveal Answer
"Beautiful." Belle's name literally means "beautiful" in French, fitting her character's emphasis on inner beauty over appearance. She is known as the first Disney princess to actively reject the "damsel in distress" trope, saving the Beast multiple times throughout the film.
Reveal Answer
Rajah. Rajah is Jasmine's fiercely loyal pet tiger who serves as both protector and companion. He is particularly hostile to any potential suitors Jasmine's father brings to the palace, including Prince Ali (Aladdin in disguise). Rajah was animated by Aaron Blaise.
Reveal Answer
Turquoise/teal. Jasmine's iconic two-piece outfit is turquoise with gold accents. In Aladdin (1992), she wears this outfit for most of the film. Her red "slave" outfit — worn when Jafar takes control — has become iconic in its own right and is frequently referenced in Disney merchandise.
Reveal Answer
Pocahontas. She has a red arm band tattoo on her right bicep, making her the only Disney Princess depicted with a tattoo in her original animated film. The tattoo was based on traditional Powhatan body art and is a subtle but historically significant detail.
Reveal Answer

Reveal Answer
Prince Adam. Though never mentioned in the 1991 film, Disney supplementary materials and merchandise identify the Beast as Prince Adam. The name was created for merchandise and was not part of the original film's production. In the 2017 live-action remake, he is also called Prince Adam.
Reveal Answer
"A Whole New World." While not a solo song, Jasmine's duet with Aladdin won the Academy Award for Best Original Song and became one of Disney's most beloved ballads. In the 2019 live-action remake, Jasmine received a new solo song called "Speechless" that was written specifically for actress Naomi Scott.
Reveal Answer
She is portrayed as an adult woman, though the real Pocahontas was only about 10-12 years old when she met John Smith. The Disney film significantly aged up the character to allow for a romantic storyline. The real Matoaka (Pocahontas) was born around 1596 and died in England in 1617 at approximately age 21.
Reveal Answer
She is Grandmother Willow herself. Grandmother Willow is a talking willow tree that serves as Pocahontas' spiritual guide. She was voiced by Linda Hunt and provides some of the film's most memorable wisdom, including the advice to "listen with your heart."

Pua. Pua is Moana's adorable pet pig who appears at the beginning of the 2016 film. Originally, Pua was supposed to accompany Moana on her ocean voyage, but the filmmakers replaced him with Heihei the rooster for comic relief. Pua remains a fan favorite despite his limited screen time.

Reveal Answer
The ocean chose her as a child to return the heart of Te Fiti. In the opening scene, the ocean (a living character in the film) gives toddler Moana the heart of Te Fiti. This connection guides her throughout her journey and sets her apart from previous Disney princesses who lack a supernatural bond with nature.
